For Streisand to sit upon her walled-in perch and preach that what is good for her isn’t good for the rest of America is ironic to say the least.
For years, left-wing celebrity Barbara Streisand has hobnobbed with Bill and Hillary Clinton, even singing to Bill Clinton at his Inaugural ball in 1993.
And, is should come as no surprise that Streisand was an early and vocal supporter of #TeamHillary.
“I want Hillary Clinton to be president,” she said last year. “We need a woman president, we need compassion, we need to have a person who comes from the heart.”
I'm a proud member of Team #Hillary2016 – And you should be, too. Seriously … what are you waiting for? http://t.co/ZsvP7ogzV5

And she remains close with Bill Clinton to this day.
Happy Birthday President Clinton! https://t.co/Osea0KD8ek pic.twitter.com/WV2j4TXhML

It should come as no surprise, then, that the former ‘Funny Girl’ star-turned-bitter-old liberal despises Donald Trump–even going so far as to threaten on CBS’s 60 Minutes to leave the U.S. for Australia (if they’ll have her) is Trump is elected.
That Streisand wants to leave the U.S. if Trump is elected is ironic since it is Trump’s “build a wall” position on immigration is what led to his populist rising to secure the GOP nomination.
Ironically, Streisand herself lives in a 3-acre compound that has a wall around it to keep unwanted intruders from entering illegally and is valued at between $60-$100 million.
Located on California’s breathtaking Pacific Coastline in Malibu, Barbra Streisand’s oceanfront estate is a compound of three adjacent properties situated on a cliff overlooking the spectacular beaches of Point Dume.
The first of the properties was reportedly purchased by Streisand in 1997, with subsequent additions added to create a 3-acre coastal estate with grounds that feature four separate structures named, the Mill House, the Barn, Grandma’s house and the Main House.
The 10,485 sq. ft. main house was built in 1984 with 8 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms. The small 2,013 sq. ft. guesthouse was built in 1948 and sits adjacent to the newly constructed 5,961 sq. ft. buildings known as the Barn and the Mill House that were built in 2007.
Every once in a while Streisand opens her gates (albeit briefly):
Whether or not Trump wins the presidency remains to be seen.
What is relevant, however, is the hypocrisy that celebrity zombies like Streisand show when their sacrosanct values are challenged.
For Streisand to sit upon her walled-in perch and preach that what is good for her isn’t good for the rest of America is ironic to say the least.
