The ‘we’ve got to read the hacked emails to know what’s in them’ argument does not sit well with Democrat Nancy Pelosi.

Democrat Nancy Pelosi—arguably the most powerful witch in Congress—sent a letter to Paul Ryan urging him and his fellow Republicans not to make political use of the emails that were hacked from the Democratic National Committee’s servers.
via the New York Times:
Nancy Pelosi, the House minority leader, sent a letter on Tuesday to Speaker Paul D. Ryan urging him to bar Republicans from using hacked documents in the campaign, arguing that “defending our democracy is more important than any advantage or disadvantage in this election.”
Ms. Pelosi, calling the hack into Democratic servers, apparently by Russians, “an unprecedented assault on the sanctity of our democratic process,” said Mr. Ryan should not condone either party using materials originating from the cybercrime.
“Democrats and Republicans must present a united front in the face of Russia’s attempts to tamper with the will of the American people,” Ms. Pelosi wrote.
Not wanting to answer Pelosi directly, Ryan deferred to the House Republican campaign arm, the National Republican Congressional Committee, according to the Times.
A spokeswoman for the committee did not rule out using hacked content, but disclaimed responsibility for the one instance it had happened thus far.
Pelosi is famous for passing bills (namely, ObamaCare) without actually reading them.
However, unsurprisingly, the Wicked Witch of the West does not want the American people to learn what is in the DNC’s emails before November’s election.
